Conforce culege momentan roadele muncii sale din ultimul an, în care a reușit să pună cap la cap cel de-al doilea albumul al său, Escapism. Acesta a fost un succes și, pentru noi, este unul dintre cele mai bune albume ale anului în curs. Cu această ocazie, cei de la whatpeoplesay au realizat un interviu foarte interesant cu artistul olandez.

5. What kind of production gear do you use/prefer?
Everything from software to hardware. Mainly hybrid synths.
But I try to stick to a few tools en get deep into them. I’m not the typical analog kind a geek but it’s nice to use a bit of everything. There’s not one way to do it. I love to get my main sounds out of a hardware synths and rework them with the more complex possibilities of virtual effects processing.

Recently I started to dig in to Maschine and Reaktor. I came up with some nice results actually, both are great tools and if you find a way to integrate it into your production process it can really be an addition to what you do. Although there is a great risk of becoming a programmer instead of a producer. So I try to refresh every now and then or completely dive into a new synth module that i’ve bought.
