Dacă până de curând puteam spune despre Mahony că este “un tânăr talent descoperit și susținut de Rosario Internullo”, astăzi artistul reprezentat de agenția Cyclic se poate lăuda cu propriile premii și realizări.

Pentru Mahony, debutul pe prima scenă a clubbing-ului românesc s-a petrecut în urmă cu treiani, pe plaja Kudos, din Mamaia, acolo unde a avut ocazia să mixeze în warm-up pentru artiști români și străini de valoare, fiind o surpriză plăcută pentru miile de clubberi prezenți acolo. Din acel moment, Mahony a devenit rezidentul oficial al celebrei plaje de la Marea Neagră. O prima confirmare a valorii tânărului Mahony vine la Nights.ro Awards 2009, atunci când se clasează pe locul 4 în topul “debutanților”. Se spune că un bun DJ trebuie să fie și un bun producător, motiv pentru care Mahony a început să lucreze tot mai mult în studio, alături de prietenul său, BOg. Rezultatele vin rapid, iar cei doi lansează “Literalmente EP”, la Fumakilla Records, respectiv “De’Bucharest EP”, la label-ul AZari. Dacă până in vara anului trecut, Mahony era cunoscut ca rezidentul plajei Kudos, luna octombrie a însemnat un pas uriaș în cariera tânărului artist. De atunci, Mahony ocupă postul de DJ rezident al Kristalului din București, având

ocazia să mixeze alături de nume ca Paul Kalkbrenner, Lee Burridge, Dennis Ferrer, James Zabiela, Audiofly, Dave Seamăn, Timo Maas sau A.N.D.Y..

După o toamnă extraordinară, Mahony a început noul an în forță. Din 2011, intră în gașca exclusivistă a DJilor care promovează imaginea magazinului de profil- DjSuperStore. Cel mai important moment al carierei lui Mahony coincide cu Nights.ro Awards 2011, gală desfășurată în luna februarie, atunci când DJ-ul câștigă premiile pentru “Cea mai mare ascensiune în 2010″ și “Rezidentul anului”. De altfel, distincția obținută pentru rezidențele la Kristal și Kudos a venit în urma unui “scor” record, de 2044 de voturi!

Între atâtea activități, Mahony își rezervă timp și pentru emisiunea săptămânală pe care o găzduiește în fiecare marți seară, de la oră 20:00, la cel mai important post de radio de profil, Vibe FM.

Talentul înnăscut, munca susținută și popularitatea de care se bucură fac din Mahony cel mai important artist din noul val de DJ-i și producători de muzică electronică din România.

It is said that a good DJ should be a good producer, which is why Mahony began to work in the studio, with his good friend BOg. Results come quickly, and the two released “Literalmente EP” on Fumakilla Records and “De’Bucharest EP”, at AZari Records.

If until last summer, Mahony was known as the Kudos Beach resident-DJ, October 2010 meant a huge step in his career. Since then, Mahony is the resident-DJ of the best romanian club, Kristal Glam Club, the young artist having the opportunity to mix with names like Paul Kalkbrenner, Lee Burridge, Dennis Ferrer, James Zabiela, Audiofly, Dave Seaman, Timo Maas and MANDY. After a great fall, Mahony began the new year very good. Since 2011, Mahony entered the exclusive group of DJs who promote the DjSuperStore online shop.

The most important moment of Mahony’s career coincides with Nights.ro Awards 2011, ceremony held in February, when he won “Best Newcommer of 2010″ and ” The best resident-DJ in 2010″. Moreover, the distinction for the residency was obtained with a record “score” of 2044 votes!
