Jay Bliss și-a început cariera de dj în orașul său natal, Sibiu, organizând rave-uri underground. De-a lungul a trei ani foarte încărcați a reușit să atragă foarte multă susținere din partea fanilor din acest oraș și a devenit o parte integrală din scena electronică de acasă.

În anul 2003 a reușit să câștige primul loc la primul concurs de DJ organizat de legendarul Chill Out Club, din Sibiu, și a fost invitat la cel mai mare eveniment în aer liber din țară, festivalul Delahoya. În scurt timp a devenit rezident la clubul care l-a consacrat. După ce s-a întâlnit cu Markus Homm (Freunde Tontraeger / Highgrade / Ostwind) în 2004, a decis să deschidă împreună cu acesta un magazin de discuri, pe care l-au boteza Electrique Boutique. A fost, la acel timp, singurul magazin de viniluri din țară, o dovadă a atitudinii pozitive și devotamentului către industrie.
Atât în 2005 cât și în 2006 Jay Bliss a fost nominalizat la categoria „Cel mai bun nou-venit” la premiile Nights.ro și în cel de-al doilea an a fondat Exposed Audio, prima casă de discuri online specializată pe techno din România. Aceasta a servit ca o sală de forță pentru mușchii săi creativi, atât ca producător cât și ca organizator.

Cu un stil ce se încadrează între house și techno, cu adânci rădăcini în Detroit-techno, Jay este invitat în Europa și mixează în deschiderea unor artiști ca Loco Dice, Guy Berger, Paco Osuna,  Derrick May sau Efdemin.
Înființează Hermannstadt Collective, alături de prietenul Mihai Popoviciu, cei doi semnând exclusiv cu labelul Immigrant Records și primesc susținerea unor artiști ca Reebot, Martin Landsky, Simon Baker, Patrick Graser, Valentino Kanzyani, Alex Flitsch, Ryan Crosson si Lauhaus.
În 2008, alături de Mihai Popoviciu și Markus Homm, semnează hitul Bis Co, track ce intră în toate charturile de profil și urcă până pe primul loc în Top 100 Beatport.

Cel mai nou proiect al lui Jay Bliss este show-ul intitulat “Musical Deeds”, un streaming live audio-video, realizat împreună cu Ciprian Popa.

Jay Bliss began his career in his hometown of Sibiu organizing rave parties. In just three years he wins local fans and becomes an integral part of the underground electronic scene.

In 2003, he won the first place in a DJ contest organized by the legendary Chill Out and he is invited at the biggest outdoor event of that time in Romania, DeLaHoya Festival. Shortly after, Jay Bliss becomes the resident-DJ in Club Chill Out. In 2004 he meets Markus Homm, and with him opens a vinyl store, Electrique Boutique. At that time, this store was the only platform of its kind in Romania.
In 2005 and 2006 he is nominated for the “Best Newcomer of the Year” at Nights.ro Awards. Also in 2006, he founded Audio Exposed – the first exclusively digital label for techno music in Romania. So, Jay has the opportunity to combine the DJ career with a business one. With a style that is between house and techno, with deep roots in Detroit techno, Jay is invited all over Europe and he plays in warm-up for artists like Loco Dice, Guy Berger, Paco Osuna, Derrick May and Efdemin.
He founded Hermannstadt Collective, with his friend Mihai Popoviciu, and the two signed with Immigrant Records and they receive support from Reebot, Martin Landsky,Simon Baker, Patrick Graser, Valentino Kanzyani, Alex Flitsch, Ryan Crosson and Lauhaus.
In 2008, Jay Bliss with Mihai Popoviciu and Markus Homm, realese the hit Bis Co., the track that enters all profile charts and climb up to first place in Top 100 Beatport. The newest project of Jay Bliss is the show called “Musical Deeds,” a live streaming audio-video, made with Ciprian Popa.
